Hwestlaeriel glowered a bit at Berethion and Tallin's "play". Not only did she not particularly like this Tallin girl, but the two were jesting whilst they were trying to find an exit from death! It was not the time for jovial behavior.
She perked up a bit at Dimithil's proclamation that he knew how to escape. Hwestlaeriel's head still throbbed horribly and she wanted to get out. She hoped that her head would not start bleeding again. Still feeling a little light-headed, she stumbled along the hallway a bit after the others.

Berethion looked fairly indignantly at Dimithil. He wished he had been the one to get them out. If they had kept blundering around, they would have found the exit.
As he silently stewed in his jealous state, he forgot about his little sister and did not notice her falling farther behind...
