Evisse the Blue's former sig topical and funny, but it is particularly clever to boot. And possibly crosses over into that nebulous realm of parody which
Estelyn and others so well traverse.
It, I do believe, rings nicely off Lewis Carroll's wonderful nonsense verse, "The Walrus and the Carpenter." Here is the stanza:

Even before I read any of Evisse's posts I just knew I would enjoy them, having read her sig and understood that here was a new member who delighted in the play of words. What more fitting tribute to Tolkien than this: the good writing we all aspire to here at the Downs.
