Try this:
Sit down and write the five most desirable characteristics you would like in your ideal man/woman (depending on your preferences)
If your list contains any of the following:
- An interest in Tolkein
- Ability to speak any Tolkien language
- Has seen FOTR at least ten times
- A member of the Barrow Downs
- Will call you by your elf/hobbit/orc name
[img]smilies/cool.gif[/img] Then RELAX! You are not obsessed - you merely have a highly developed ear for the finer things in life and are a dedicated fan. CONGRATULATIONS! You still have your grip on reality!
However, if your list contains ANY of these:
- Being Legolas/Frodo/Aragorn/Galadriel/Eowyn/Arwen
- Having pointy ears/big hairy feet and no shoes/being immortal/a wizard/a dwarf
- Must have killed a balrog or dragon at some point.
- Must be king or queen of both Gondor and Arnor
- Must give up their immortal life to be with you
