It's from a website dedicated to an Anne Rice book. Louis was made a vampire in old New Orleans, and it refers to what he went through, all the emotional turmoil and suffering. The books themselves are filled with beautifully well written things like this, I'd strongly suggest you read them. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] And I miss that sig, so it may be coming back...
