Closer to them than to Malris and Tasa is the Smith, an essentially good-hearted but rather eccentric spirit who has been instructed by a mysterious female voice (coughbitterDivinercough) to "gather six pupils"...

Closer to Malris and Tasa, for the sake of fairness, is the subterranean lake with lots of Watcher-like nasties within.

And there are trolls and socially challenged ghosts creeping around the place.

The twins, Lomwe, and Lindir are looking for Malris and Tasa. Malris and Tasa are looking for any way up to the surface. Osanwe-kenta is still unreliable in the brooding underground air...
