My friend found and sent me this really good rendition of 'Hero' by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott. I had no idea where to put it so i made a new topic. Anybody else find something like this? It made me sad, it is very well put together.

*Frodo lies dying on Weathertop, (musical thump) He cries for Gandalf on Aragorn’s shoulder*
No, heaven
*Boromir gets hit with the first arrow*
don't hear me
*Gandalf curls up on Orthanc and the camera flies away*

And they say that a
*Gandalf atop his horse goes flying over the plains*
hero could save us
*Gandalf stands up against the Balrog*
I'm not gonna stand here and wait
*The Balrog crashes his sword against Gandalf’s light sphere;* (and wait) *Close-up of Gandalf vs. Balrog, looking very furious*
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles
(I’ll hold onto) *Gandalf takes a flying leap off Orthanc* (wings…) *Goes flying off on
Gwaihir*
Watch as we all fly away
*Saruman watches as they fly away*

Someone told me
*Frodo and Gandalf hug*
Love would all save us
*Hobbits hug, reunited in Rivendell*
But, how can that be
*Isildur kneels beside his dead father and removes his helm*
Look what love gave us
*Isildur holds the Ring in Mt. Doom, and walks away (final musical thump) quick shot of
Gollum in Moria*
A world full of killing
*The Cave Troll nearly pounds Sam, (musical thump) spears Frodo*
And blood spilling
*Aragorn slices Lurtz’s head*
That world never came
(That world) *We see the marketplace of the Shire* (never came, music building) *The Shire
ignites on fire (as in Galadriel’s mirror)*

And they say that a
*Frodo, looking into the mirror, looks scared*
hero could save us
*Frodo’s face hardens* (“What must I do?”)
I'm not gonna stand here and wait
(I’m not gonna stand here) *Frodo places his cloak and pack on his back,* (and wait)
*Places the Ring in his pocket, looks up to Gandalf*
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles
(I’ll hold onto) *Frodo looks up for strength* (wings) *Gandalf places his hand on Frodo’s
shoulder* (of the) *Aragorn closes Frodo’s hand around the Ring* (eagles) *Frodo and Sam
on Emyn Muil*
Watch as we all fly away
*Boromir pulls Frodo out of Moria, Frodo crying for Gandalf*

Ah…
*During the musical interlude, we see a quick sequence of heroic shots: The Fellowship
presented, Boromir teaching Merry and Pippin to fight, Shots from the Cave Troll fight,
shots from the Amon Hen fight, etc; the final build of the music being Aragorn forcing
Lurtz backward during their fight (right before he thrusts his sword into Lurtz’s belly)*

Now that the world isn't ending
*Aragorn and Arwen stand on the bridge at Rivendell*
It's love that I'm sending
*Arwen places the pendent in his hand*
to you
*They kiss and the camera pans away*
It isn't the love of a hero
*After trying to take the Ring, Boromir realizes what he has done*
And that's why I fear it won’t do
*He starts to weep*

(Musical thumps)
*Frodo’s feet race away, Boromir comes charging up the hill*

And they say that a hero
*He raises his sword against the Orc about to kill Merry and Pippin*
could save us
*Merry and Pippin look on in horror*
I'm not gonna stand here and wait
*Boromir is hit with an arrow, but returns to his feet to fight*
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles
*Boromir holds his sword (as he dies) and pledges his allegiance to Aragorn*
Watch as we all fly away
*Boromir dies, Aragorn cries a single tear in the light*

And they're watching us
*Uruks race over a hill*
They're watching us
*Uruks get their face painted*
As we all fly away
*They drag Merry and Pippin away*

And they're watching us
*Orcs race over a hill*
They're watching us
*Grunting and snarling up close*
As we all fly away
*Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli go racing through the woods*

And they're watching us
*The Nazgul race over a field*
They're watching us
*The Eye flashes on the screen*
As we all fly away
*Frodo and Sam start down Emyn Muil*

Whoa....
