And the Host is...
I have no idea if someone has done this... too bad... hehe..
Anyway.. I had this crazy mind flash of Boromir being the host of This is Your Life. Which led me to think... Who do you think would host modern-day TV? Crazy, i know, but eerily interesting...

I wouldn't mind seeing Gollum on "Who Wants to Be a Millionare?"
*Is it sure, precious, is that the nice human's final answer? GOLLUM! GOLLUM! If it gets it rights it wins the money, yes, it does, but not the precious -- GOLLUM!-- no, precious, the precious is mine, all mine! GOLLUM!....Ah, tricksy human, you got it right!* Gollum, Grima, or Saruman might also make an excellent host for "Mole".

Treebeard: Ground Force or Gardener's Question Time.
Merry and Pippin hosting Ready Steady Cook. Or sports commentators. Arwen instead of Ricki Lake. I think Gandalf and Saruman should team up as news reporters.

I see Aragorn hosting one of those outdoor fishing shows.
Faramir... Martha Stewart. I can just see it vividly and it's really scary. Or maybe him and Éowyn doing the Crocodile Hunter.

I could imagine Aragorn hosting survivor. I'd like to see him rolling his eyes at everyone on there due to their stupidity. Then again I think he may be too curtious.
Gimli would be the speaker on one of those stock shows. And I would have to agree with Meela with Merry and Pippin being on Ready Steady Cook. Frodo would host a show using inspirational speaking. Boromir would host shows on the Discovery channel. Legolas would probably be doing the shows that Boromir didn't on Discovery. |

Boromir and Gandalf judging American Idol (due to their surpassing-excellent dancing skills).
Who would host The Weakest Link? Hmmm.... (can't think... aah!)

Strange thing is, I can imagine Merry and Pippin hosting a sports show:
Merry: That Randy Johnson sure is an excellent pitcher. Pippin: I would have to agree, Merry, he's my 5th cousin on m'mothers side, don't ya know. I see Frodo hosting one of those haunted house shows, or something to do with supernatural happings. (Complete with the flashlight under the chin and all...) How 'bout Gollum on the Home Shopping Network during jewelry hour? Gollum: That was the ruby necklace at a preciouss price of $999! Now here's preciousss being worn by our lovely model Matilta. So pretty, preciousss, so shiny preciousss, wait, Matilda has precioussss! Nooooooooooooooo! *Tackels jewerly model and takes the ring from her* Gollum: *Looking at camera with ring in his hands* Preciousss not for sale! You hear that, you sneaksy Bagginssess and Modelssss! Preciousss my own. MY Preciousss!

Meela, that was brilliant. I can't believe I couldn't think of it.
I'd like to see Galadriel hosting Trading Spaces. With top designers Elrond, Eomer, and Arwen, along with carpenter Eowyn. (Come on, like she'd want a girly job! And Amy Wynn can do it... hey, notice the similarity in name!)

But it's a match in more than one way. See, Boromir's the Disco King, right? Look at the word "discovery." It could be "Disco Very." Off-Topic: Morai: You mentioned Randy Johnson. Please tell me you're not a Diamondbacks fan. Otherwise, I'll have to hug you to death.

Frodo and Bilbo could do one of those documenteries.
And Rynoah, I prefer to be petted, not hugged. (It kinda strange, but I don't even live in Arizona)

Elrond would host Weakest Link. He's got that sarcastic, pompous look, and he *never* smiles.
