I had a real Gollum moment yesterday.
I thought I'd lost my memory stick. I was frantic. I turned everything upside down. I paced the floor. I called out, Oh No!! What shall I do!!
Then, I finally found it, on the floor of the car under the drivers seat. I was so relieved that I kissed it. Several times.
Then I realised, chastened in the wake of this hysteria, that my memory stick really is my precioussss. For example, I am often in the habit of putting my hand into my bag to caress it, just to make sure it is there.

What is your preciouss?
