My birthday: September 30 -
Black Riders attack Crickhollow and the Prancing Pony in the early morning. The hobbits and Strider leave Bree in the late morning and enter the Chetwood. Gandalf comes to Crickhollow and reaches Bree at night. Well at least its something.. Off by 8 days from Frodo & Bilbo's birthday.

I have no clue what happened on/near my birthday (October 2nd) because my copy of LotR is one of those really old ones printed just after the animated movie was made (so it's really really old) and all it's got for appendices is a bit of The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen, which is a pain...

Bah! Nothing happened on my birthday (oct 19) but on the 18th Glorfindel found Frodo in the dusk and on the 20th they crossed the Ford of Bruinen. So on my birthday Glorfindel and Frodo were visiting. How quaint.
