Some with Faramir Id like to see especially him leading Frodo, Sam and Gollum out of Osgiliath.
Here

Some of those I'd really like to see, but others I hope they leave scrapped. Getting back the Ent-draught and more captivity by the Uruk-hai is great, but anything with more Elves can stay gone.

I'm really anxious to see the Boromir/Faramir/Denethor scenes. One big happy family, right?

What? No Grishnakh? ARGH! I was even taking note of any space for an extra scene when I saw it the second time..."Does it switch angles? Does it cut? Maybe there's the scene with Grishnakh!" Oh well...I'll just have to stop the movie and read that scene out loud.
Keep the Arwen scenes on the cutting-room floor, please. We don't need any more of her than we've already got. But I wouldn't mind knowing what the heck happens to Narsil...
More Bilbo? That rocks. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing more Merry and Pippin--they were horribly cut back on. (Understandably, but horribly nonetheless.) Also, it'll be good to see more of the inter-Orc fighting. It emphasizes the Orthanc-Barad-dur treachery, as will Saruman's (characteristically blantant) "more powerful than the Lord of the Rings himself" speech.
Yay for Sam and his rope! Maybe they'll have that scene where he remembers that he has it in his pack...the one that comes right before the meet up with Gollum. Where Frodo falls off of that wall...oh, you know what I'm talking about.
But what indeed is up with Faramir getting Sam's lines? Sam deserves all his lines. He earned them! But the Faramir/Boromir/Denethor scene ought to be nice.
Less than a year, right?
~*~Orual~*~

"That's strange. Do they mean Huorns perhaps?"
More than likely. Good if that is in the extended DVD then awesome.

Awesome! MORE! MORE! MORE!! Cheers for the link, with any luck these aren't just idle rumours. I'd be keen to see almost all of them. Obviously nothing to do with the Elves at Helm's Deep, although maybe it will make it seem less random. I'm not a big movieElrond fan either, so I don't really need to see him complaining about how weak Men are again. As for Faramir delivering what were supposed to be Sam's thoughts on how horrible the wars of men against men are, I don't think that fits his character as a soldier AT ALL. Poor, butchered Faramir.
I find it strange, though, that the whole Extended DVD concept can be used as an excuse not to do the best job possible first-time round. I think that if PJ and co had made a few different decisions in editing FOTR it would have been a better movie.

Well, I don't know if it's an excuse not to do their best possible--I think it's more of an effort to give Tolkien fans what they couldn't in theatres, what with time constraints and all. I know people who complained about three hours...personally, I would've stayed all nine/nine and a half last December to see all three movies at once, but that's because I'm more than a little nutty. But what I'm saying is that an extra half hour or forty-five minutes would've driven non-believers away. Besides, any butchering that occurred in the Two Towers wouldn't have been undone by extra footage. Alas for Faramir! He was too sore a trial for PJ. How that scene increased my sorrow...
~*~Orual~*~
