Beorn and Aragorn meeting - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

I always imagined that when Aragorn left Rivendell and started ranging he would have encountered Beorn when he was still lord of the lands between the Misty Mountains and Mirkwood.

I commissioned a friend to do an art piece for me depicting such a meeting. I thought I would share.

That is a lovely picture.

It feels like it wants to tell me a story - Aragorn clearly has something on his mind, Legolas is sassing, Radagast looks exhausted, and Beorn is giving Gandalf a look that says "first dwarves, now scruffy Men... what will you bring me next?"
