I was thinking about Christopher Tolkien and it occurred to me that I've never seen a picture of him,If any of you have one please show me!

Wow! Now you mention it, I've never seen one either. I just pictured him looking like a young JRR!

Thanks for that link... I never really tried to picture him, but the image fits the reputation -- how scholarly he looks!

Well, I know that but.... Well, he just doesn't seem old to me. I have no idea why but, oh well I know what he looks like now!

Shameless, I say. Simply shameless. Christopher posing with a tree behind him. As if we don't all know of the photographs of Tolkien sitting by his favourite tree, or touching the pinas nigra in the Oxford Botanical Garden. Just who does CT think he is?

Yes BB and in the others he is posing with books... in a study... outrageous.... I am surprised he hasn't gone the whol hog and got a pipe..

I think he looks more like his father than he did in the "young" photos in the HC biography. And if you look at the Tolkien in Oxford pic.. a similar mannerism. But as with most people you can see both parents if you look hard enough..

His speaking voice is a lot clearer than his father's which is very fast and soft. Christopher sounds very patrician in his recordings.
