All Time Favourite Characters.
Well, as all the movies are out now, I thought it might be time for everyone to share there favourite characters of the story with us.
First of all, your favourite character of them all, then your favourite Man, Woman, Hobbit, Elf, Dwarf, Wizard and Bad Guy. I realize that that does not cover all the races so I will put in another category; Other. Here are my All Time Favourite Characters. All Time Favourite: Aragorn. Man: Eomer.* Woman: Arwen. Elf: Legolas. Hobbit: Pippin. Dwarf: Gimli. Wizard: Gandalf the White. Bad Guy: Gothmog. Other: Tom Bombadil. *Can not have same character named twice. Very hard to do. Some tough decisions to make. All Time Favourite: Elrond Man: Theoden (well this was a tough decision) Woman: Eowyn (if we talk about the Movies I have no favourite [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]) Elf: Arwen Hobbit: Samwise Gamgee Dwarf: Gimli (are there any choices?) Overall: what a hard question. i can't answer really, but for now it's Faramir (book).
Man: Aragorn Woman: Galadriel Hobbit: Merry (in the book; in hte film, Frodo) Dwarf: Gimli (if i put Gloin, i would feel i would be in The Hobbit territory) Wizard: Saruman of Many Colours. Bad guy: The Witch King Other: grrrrrrr, um, err, Shagrat and Gorbag and Snaga.

Thengal, it is for absoloutley every character in both the book/s and movie/s.
Sorry, reading the initial post now it seems that I was talking about the movie. Any who, not as many nominations for Boromir as I would have thought at this stage. Kransha, I do not know what you see in Denethor. To me the only good thing about him is that he is Boromir and Faramir's father. Alas, you may say similar about Aragorn.
