Very nice article on Frodo's mercy to Saruman, <B>mark12_30</B>. Thanks for the link.<P>I am reading JRR Tolkien's letters at the moment for the first time. Very enlightening. I find much in there that backs up my low opinion of PJ's movie treatment of the meat of the book. ("The meat" is not battles.)
