I like Tom Bombadil because of his sense of otherness, his really great memory, and, strangely, for his seclusion. I think his folksy wisdom is really cool, his magic never seems like magic(it seems more like an extension of himself, his personality), and his almost child-like ways are so endearing, yet they set him apart. He definitely is a 'person' of his own, and I like that. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] There's just something about him that is undefinable (at least, to me), and i think that's what makes him one of my favorite characters! Peace
