Ring Why do we not hear anything about the other Rings?

Here is a thought. Why do we not hear anything about any of the other Elven Rings in the Lord of the Rings? Its a funny thing that we do not because they held so much power. I just wish that Tolkien could have elaborated on the rings a bit more than he did. Anyone else have any thought?
