I recently finished reading the LotR for the first time, and I was left rather confused. I was surprised to find the main character suddenly sail across to an unknown land, and never hear of him again. At this I felt a little sad. What happened to him? I'd prefer him stay in the Shire with Sam and his friends

And what about Sam and the others? What happens to them? Is there a sequal to LotR or anything else explaining this? And what of this land over the sea? What's Frodo doing over there?

.. I've asked about 20 questions in the one post Sorry!

"Half-grown hobbits, the hole-dwellers" "and as hungry as hunters, The Hobbit Children, the laughing folk, the little people"
