Sting Feanor was right.

Understanding that the Valar's protection has its flaws. Was Feanor wrong to take his safty into his own hands? How would the fate the the Elves and ME have changed if Feanor relented to the counsel given by the Valar? Would Elves be equiped to protect themselves if Morgoth were to again strike and defile anything in Aman?
