PJ's butchering of the stories

I am fully aware of the fact that he couldnt have left all of the storyline in the movies, but am I the only one that found it totally unessesary to add that part with Aragorn falling off the cliff? *I* think that it was an attempt to give Arwen more undeserving screentime by having her come to him in a vision of some sort... and on top of that I've discovered a site that has what they claim to be the full list of changes in RotK, and I find some of them VERY angering.
