It is interesting, though, how liking Tolkien almost automatically classifies one as a geek. Not that I mind; I'd rather be a geek than one of the "cool" people.

Why is it that Tolkien fanhood deposits one into the realm of geekishness?

On another point, here's a fun test to find out just how much of a geek you are! (Don't worry, Estelyn, it does mention Tolkien in there! ^ ~) THE GEEK TEST
