From which direction is your character coming from? Did he arrive at Thranduil's realm and on his way down south now?

Yes, that is generally what I envisioned. My character is close to your camp now, though he doesn't know it.

I can come up to your camp in a peaceful setting and just simply spring from the forest and introduce myself. Alternately, if there is going to be a fight or action taking place very soon, I can come roaring out to help you. I'd only want to do that if there is some action coming on very quickly.....
