How many Glorfindels are there in ME that came from Valinor? - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

There was a Glorfindel who fought a Balrog at the fall of Gondolin. There was also another Glorfindel from FotR who saved Frodo from the Nazgul. Gandalf told him that he was "one of the mighty First-born" and something about Glorfindel as one of the Exiles. I thought I read that Glorfindel and that Balrog slew each other. If he died, how could he save Frodo? Or is that second Glorfindel a sort of reincarnation?
