Since yesterday was my first proper lurk on the Downs in over a year, it's only fitting that last night I dreamt about it.

I held a dinner party to celebrate the occasion, with all you lovely BDers as guests and a few sundry LotR characters thrown in. Only everybody was too wary of Denethor storming in at any moment to enjoy the party properly, and I had to assure them that he was safely locked away in his tower, happily occupied with some candles and matches (like a kid with building blocks, bless).

Unfortunately, my dream of being shacked up with Denethor in domestic, if flammable, bliss was then abruptly ended by a cat jumping on my pillow.
