Ha! The old man, indeed, he's creepy.

My preferences about minor characters have changed during the years.

Of course, the minor characters I like I don't consider "minor". But if I were to say some really minor guys (mentioned in only a few sentences or having one or two lines in the whole story) whom I really like and whom even I consider minor, who occurs to me first is Lugdush. I think he must be cool.

And if we move to those whom I don't consider minor, but whom I think some people might (how dare they!), there will definitely be Gorbag, the one and only metaphysical philosopher of the Orcs, and of course Uglúk, who in my opinion cannot be considered a minor character in any case, because there is simply a whole chapter only about him!

From the more First-Age-type people, Aerin is definitely there.

I am sure I could think of more, but right now I am thinking in one limited circle, maybe later something will remind me of a different kind of people...
