Vanyar > Noldor?

If fighting Morgoth can make one great, then who is 'greater' from it? the Vanyar who won or the Noldor who lost

The Noldor fought themselves and had no direct help from the Valar, unlike the Vanyar did. And it was not only the Vanyar in the War of Wrath, but also the host of Finarfin (Noldor).

They fight when it is truly the right time to do so.

They fought because the Valar told them so.
I would say that the Vanyar are the best in the art of being boring.
I wonder if Melkor had killed Ingwë, if the Vanyar would have done something about it.
