Actually, wasn't that Gandalf speaking to Frodo in The Two Towers (book)?

Here's the full quote:

"Pity? It was Pity that stayed his hand. Pity, and Mercy: not to strike without need."

Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter since we're only guessing if it was from the book or the movie, right? [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
