Hold the cursor over each and all will be revealed.

<STRONG>Is it possible to post without using one of the little symbols. (ex. the JRRT symbol on my post)</STRONG>

Nope. You have to choose one. Go on! It's fun!

<STRONG>Is there a way to see your post before it posts (like the "see preview" thing on the server that became evil (aka ezboard))</STRONG>

Not yet. But post previews is at the top of our list of modifications. Look for that capablility again soon.

<STRONG>ACK!! I've tried twice now to post, and both times it yelled at me!! The first time I had too many pictures (the smileys), and the second time I hadn't waited long enough before posting again. ACK!!!!</STRONG>

Hmmm.... too many smilies? How many did you have?? [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] And yeah, there is flooding protection set to 30 seconds so someone can't post senseless stuff over and over just to be a nuisance.
