Zoe has a point in that voting doesn't make the site better. Its the content and the members that do that. But voting does attract more ppl to the Downs and that's why I encourage it. I don't look at 25 Hobbits as a competition between us and the other sites, but I do consider the Downs a site that should be at or near the top of any list it occupies.
