Okay, potatoes to nail polish to Glaurung...
Potatoes are usually brown (hopefully always that color), brown is a color, nail poliish comes in oodles of colors, nail polish can come in red, red is the color fire usually is, dragons often blow fire, Glaurung is a dragon.
