but of course, I'd be an Elvish Hobbit... thus, I would posess an innner glow and be wise as an elf, yet posess the innocence of a hobbit, and be all around ethereal... ahh bliss

On that note, I'd be a hobbitish-elf. Beautiful and tall as an elf, but cute and with hairy feet. Wise as an elf, but playful and innocent as a hobbit. Immortal as an elf, yet child-like and loving as a hobbit. With pointy ears and curly hair. Aaah... bliss.

I would probably be an elf. Something about them enchants me.
Also, I would want to be a Vala because they can take the shape of other races, so I would never have to really choose!

I would definitely want to be in Elf because they are immortal and wise but also they are mischievous as well. I've just been rereading the Hobbit and the Elves have their own brand of humor.

Hobbit hands-down. I think it'd be wonderful to live such a peaceful, happy life without any significant worries. True, such a life style would probably be boring for any other race to live, but what do I care about the adventures and nature of other races? I'm just hobbit.
This is probably slightly off topic, but if I could be an animal in ME, I'd be a horse of Rohan. They're strong, steadfast, well known, and probably the best kept and well treated horses in ME.

I would most likely want to be of the race of Men. To me, Elves are cool and would be great to have as friends, but I personally would not want to be an Elf. There's some kind of appeal that Men have in LotR- the Elves' time has ended, so Men are taking initiative and trying their hand at helping Middle-Earth. Yes, their lives are shorter, but I find it intriguing how they know for sure that they are going to die and live their lives without fear and to the best of their abilities... but that's just me...
My second choice would be an Ent. Ents are fascinating in more ways than one.

i'd love to be an elf.they are wise and beautiful, they have great voices and fighting skills.they live in harmony with the nature and they can speak sindar/quenya!but it wouldn't be nice to be immortal.

Human. But I believe Dol Amroth had some elvish blood in the people? So I would be from Dol Amroth. Or just a half-elf.
Or I would be one of the Valar. Or a Wraith.

I'd just be me... I don't think that I need to change - I look like a hobbit but I think like an elf. Pity it isn't the other way round but oh well! Oh yeah, I'd be a hobbit like Frodo or my namesakes - Sam and Elanor becaue I can speak elvish. Except Sam can't... Okay, well I'm dumb.

Lets see. I would probably be a Hobbit. Not so I could go of, and adventure like those crazy Baggins. However because of the fact that I like to enjoy the smaller things in life. Such as sitting on the couch, planting some taters, and having a good time with everyone down at the inn at bywater.
If not a Hobbit, I would say a Man. Preferably Gondorian. I love the history the have, and then Meela & I can sit around and talk of the greatest steward of them all Denethor.

Well...I would be a hobbit. Because I am a hobbit. Second choice is an Ent, because you can step on things and squish them.

I suppose I'd be a hobbit so I could be a...Couch Tater!
Actually, I don't know what I'd be. If I were hobbit/elf/wraith/whatever, then I wouldn't have the pleasure of the BD's. So...that's very hobbitish of me, I suppose.

I wanna be an elf... I was in my past life, you know . Noldorin, preferably. The whole intelligence factor. Knowledge is power!

hmmmm...I'd have to say elf. There's something about being the realization of the perfect human. I'm suprised to see(or not) that no one has declared themselves a dwarf yet. Poor dwarves(nature destroyers, grrr) always forgotten.

No one wants to be a Dwarf for three reasons...
1. they're ugly 2. the females resemble the males (they're ugly) 3. THEY'RE UGLY! Does that sum it up for all you dwarf lovers out there?

Actually, my sister wants to be a dwarf...
I, like everyone else it seems, wish to be an Elf. An Elf of the house of Finarfin, to be more specific. Or Tinuviel. Tinuviel works too. |

I wish I could say I'm going against the crowd, but sadly, I can't. I want to be an elf. Their knowledge of all such good and evil things precides my capabilitys, but I'm willing to try! Their oneness with their senses also intrigues me, as well as their perceptiveness. So, furthermore, I am a sea-faring elf, transplanted into Mirkwood at a very early age with a strong longing for the sea. Yeah, that's it! More accuratly, my mother(was a hamster) is full blooded Noldorien, and my father(smelled of elderberries) is half man, half Noldorien. Well that was fun!
EDIT: I forgot to include my point! How un-elvish of me! [ July 03, 2003: Message edited by: Arafangwen ]

Dwarves rock, and Im sure Dain and Gimli son of Gloin would agree. We are short so if you go to swipe us with a sword you end up stabbing the air above our heads. Were great with metal and stone. We are simply the best.

On second thought, I think I'd be either Luthien, or some other Telerin elf, as in my sort of private fantasy land, where I am the mostly Telerin, partially Noldorin, a little bit Human Elf-Queen Kelduiniel Luthien Tinuviel Belegthalion of a group of Teleri called the Eargilon. I know, that was long and confusing. Quite simply, I'd be related to everyone cool and I'd me mostly Telerin. What can I say? I love the sea.

I would be half-elven since I can't decide whether I'd like being a Man or an Elf. I would still choose to be immortal though.
