Sorry to revive an old topic but i think its a great subject. I love the idea of the Decent of Earendel (so much so that i wrote a short story on it here) I like it, but tell me what you think. There are two different things that can be admired in the Sil, the first being good descriptions, like the story of Beren and Lúthien, and some good ideas that were never fully told, like the war of wrath.
