Lord of Angmar has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

Name (that you go by): Barliman Butterbur
Age: Well now, let's see...
Occupation: Inn-Keeper
Future Aspirations: Perhaps a second inn in Archet or Combe, to be run by my trusted Nob (although a huge promotion it would be!)
Goal in life: To keep travelers and Bree-folk well-rested.
Short term goals: Holding my ale to the finest Bree standards!
Passion: Brewin' a good pint.
Hobbies: Hobbies? What are those? Might you mean "Hobbits"?
Famous for (okay this is where you get to brag about yourself): Helping that Mr. Underhill and his band escape from Bree-land.

Fave book: Why, the Prancing Pony guest book, of course!
Fave movie: Movie? No, thank you. Is that some sort of Mannish contraption or Wizard's sorcery?
Fave sport: I go pony-riding every now and again.
Fave store: The Furniture Shoppe on Bree-Hill
Fave music: A good song sung by any able Man, Elf, Hobbit or Dwarf!

What you can't stand: Bob and Nob's Tom-foolery!
What you plain dislike: Queer, unfriendly folk passing through my parts.
Who you admire: That Mr. Gandalf is quite a noble fellow.
What you most love to do: Serve the folk who come to the Prancing Pony for a pint as best I can.
Your self-confessed flaws: I'll speak before I'll think and I'll forget before I'll remember.
What intrigues/fascinates you: Any merry folk as make their way to my inn.
What scares you: Heavens! Why, those Black Riders scare me more than a little, going about ruining a couple of good beds and scaring that Mr. Underhill into taking up with a Ranger!
Quotation to live by: I am no man of lore, though I do fancy myself educated (being lettered and all). I keep no quotes, famous or otherwise, in mind, other than this: "Stay busy and stay friendly."
