The Few, The Proud....The Gimli fans!

Sorry, I just got sick of all the ga-ga over Legolas. I want some deep, intellectual conversations with TRUE Tolkien fans that don't like LOTR just cause of Legolas.

Asking why everyone seems to have such an antipathy for Gimli is a surefire way to get deep, intellectual conversations in my book. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Gimli is portrayed quite a bit more uncivilized in the movie than he is in the book, and I'm sure his callousness of character has a lot to do with his lack of fan clubs.
