Standing next to Lyra (uh...I think) Rytien watched in exasperation as Anuion led Aman to the dance floor. She felt so sorry for her. Rytien thought about punching him. She was pretty sure that Anuion had said nasty things about her dancing, but he had only said "the girl", so she wasn't sure.

"Elfy boy is confusing me. He keeps saying wierd things and changing the topic. I think he is ignoring what we do, don't you, Lyra?" Lyra nodded in agreement. "Remember," she said, "he is the son of the mad and hairy dutchman, supposively." Rytien nodded thoughtfully. "Wait...Lyra, who's your sister? I will kill the bloody pointy eared son of a cow, I am so confused!"
