Elwyn walked next to Mithwyn, prodding her forward when she paused. It made her nervous, not knowing where she was going or what she would meet.

As she walked, she found herself talking to Mithwyn almost as she used to. "It's been a long time, hasn't it? I joined the guard of Rafflensher, did you know? No, I suppose you didn't."

Mithwyn turned to the red haired elf next to her, unspeaking. In her eyes was a depth of sadness and anger that was so intense, it made the room seem colder. To cover up her awkwardness and remorse, she strode forward to where Ransom stood. "Where are we going?" she asked, knowing full well that he didn't know.

And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."
