Cromthal smiled at the hobbit-lass and then looked at Rirrym.

"What do you say to bacon, eggs, and toast, Rirrym?" he asked. Rirrym nodded in agreement.

At the table Cromthal said. "Don't feel too guilty that you didn't know my birthday, Rirrym. I at first was going to tell no one, but you shoud know. How old are you if I may ask?"
