Ellie wanted to scream with frustration, at Drago, at her whole life...she didn't know which. Maybe it had wanted to come out for a long time.

Stuffing the front of her pinafore into her mouth to muffle the sound and darting into a dark corner of the corridor, she yelled as she never had before. It made her feel a little better, and her rage started to subside into sadness that she seemed to have lost what seemed to be a good friend by being horrible to Drago.

He started it! she said to herself firmly. Who cares about him, anyway? He's just...just a- a silly boy!.

Consciously drawing herself up to her full 3 foot eight inches, Ellie walked down to the bar. Seeing Champignonne sitting doing some sort of needlework, she sat down opposite her determined to act as if nothing had happened.
"That's pretty" she started "I can't do anything like that. I'm not...not patient enough." Ellie swallowed.
"Soup?" asked Champignonne, gesturing to the bowl.
"I'm- I'm not...hungry" she replied, and burst into tears.
