Finrod slowly shook his head and smiled to Aramil. He actually shouldn't have another ale. He seems to have got his dose already, he thought. But Finrod accepted to join Aramil and have another ale. Finrod listened with excitment to the stranger's stories about how his donkey died and other problems that troubled his mind. Finally he stopped. The stranger seemed like he was going to cry, but he didn't. Poor fellow, Finrod thought. Aramil ordered another ale again as he finished his first, but Finrod just wanted a glas of water this time.

"I dont think you should drink much more ale, Aramil", Finrod said and looked at him. Aramil seemed like he were going to fall of the barchair. Aramil then put away his ale he just got and shook his head. Finrod sighed and then said " So, is there anything I can do for you?" Finrod actually knew that he couldn't do very much. Aramil still sat quiet and Finrod awaited his answer.
