I've been pondering Hob Hamfast's kind offer, but my gut reaction is that the boys would rather curl up on the horses' backs and sleep there than have a cozy bed. They miss Estel, they love ponies, and aside from Estel, there weren't very many equines on Tol Fuin!

Lindo, I think, would either be with his boys or with Maura; and towards the end of the tale, Maura won't want his company!

I'll keep The Hamfasts in mind though; I suspect the reason for your idea will come clear in a while.
