Sting

It was close to mid-day wen they finally stopped.
"Aman, are you ok?"
"Huh? Oh, ya, fine." SHe looked a bit preoccupied.
"Aman, What evil am i supposed to know about?" Ala asked.
"Ah, that would be Thrakatburz. Becareful Tiri, She may try to ensnare you because of..." She drifted off not wanted to upset her friend.
"Yes, i know, becuase of the darkness inside of me. She will probably try, she knows of my ancesters, and how evil they were. I curse them everyday, and i am ashamed of my heritage." She said not meeting the eyes of her friend.
"Alateriel, you need not be ashamed. You didn't kill those people, you were only a little girl. You had no control over what happened. Let it go." Aman soothed her friend.
"I know..." She turned in her saddle and looked at the archers who sat on the ground quietly talking and eating. SHe sighed and jumped off her horse, led him to a tree, and untacked him. She sat down next to Aman, and ate her food. SHe was deep in thot, and thot of her past.
