Sting

Calad watched the three faeries unite. They appeared to be good friends. Calad growled at that, but inside himself, he knew that he wanted friends such as that. He wondered if he even had any of these 'friends' at Mirkwood and if they missed him.

Once again, he made his way towards the three faeries, half-crawling, half-stumbling. Senouce growled at him, his broken horns glinting in the rising sun. Feeling sane, he reached out with a hand towards the dragon's head. The dragon snarled, then glared at the hand of his enemy. Amyn looked up at Calad, expecting him to do something crazy. But instead, he sung in the Elvish language, which only Thengise could understand:

White flowers in the sky,
clinging onto sky so high.
Leaves full of jewels,
the trees slowly lull.
Among the sky the gold moon rises
the golden moon is the wisest.
Sing O Golden Moon,
for evening ends to soon.
You are doomed to fall
when the morning birds call
and the Sun takes your place
with its bright yellow face.
So sing, my golden child,
o'er green fields wild,
before the sky grows light
and your power loses might.
