Sting

Calad jumped at the sight of Amyn. It is that idiotic thing again! thought Calad, and he screamed, "Get it off! Away!" until the guards clenched onto his waist so that he could not escape and cause trouble in Rivendell. The elf squirmed, panting, his hair getting in his eyes.

Elrond was startled as well at the faerie, but soon regained his stern composure. Looking at Thengise, then at Calad. He then spoke. "That can be done," he said, "but that does not mean he can be fully healed. The memories may be so painful that he will perish if he does not go to the West." He had his own memories, of his wife leaving for Valinor, from the sam cause: orcs. He said, "You shall be brought to your rooms." Then he paused. "The other will stay elsewhere."

After Elrond finished, the guards that held on to Calad walked out of the House and to a corridor. There were five rooms there, just as the guards that Amyn overheard said. The guards went into a room, seperate from the others. The group was led into their rooms as well. Each of them had a pleasant atmosphere, with the walls all white, the windows ornate and letting the sun shine brightly through, white beds in the corners.
