Goodness me, Daegwen. How on earth did you post so many posts in such a short time!!!!
I think that, if you want to find out what happens to a particular character, reading all of the LOTR, and the Appendixes, won't go amiss. You might try the Silmarillion to find out who on earth some of the previous people mentioned in LOTR are... Regards, ~ Elentari II
