Yes, well, that first post was just me having mental diarrhea... The balrog could've had wings, but the massive quantities of fire made up for it. Wonder why Jackson didn't go for it...? Maybe because it would have been too cliche? Or too much money, but that is one pair of wings; there comes a point when a few hundred dollars don't make a hell of a lot of difference. Dunno. One thing that struck me was the way WETA got the mouth to look when he roared at Gandalf. <P>Who would've been better... perhaps throwing Christopher Lloyd in somewhere.
