I think Merry and Pippin will come into their own in TT. After all, they did jump on the back of a cave troll in the first film, and attacked the Uruk-Hai (After standing their with their mouths hanging open while Boromir got turned into a pincushion.)<P>And in the first trailer, they do show Aragorn picking up the brooch from the grass, so it DOES get dropped by someone.
