I never really disliked Boromir in the books, but I think because, in the film you can see his struggles with his consience in his expression, he comes across as a more fully developed character and therefore we are able to like him that little bit more.<BR>I too think that Sean Bean played him really well, especially towards the end from Lothlorien onwards.
