Thank you for that link. I'm glad I'm prepared for some of those cuts, it would have been far worse to wait til the viewing to find out.<BR>The Theoden problem continues to trouble me (no Merry pledging allegiance) and it seems clear from reading that thread that as they turned Theoden into Denethor-lite in TT, this resulted in having to mess about with Denethor in RotK. <BR>I'm very disappointed by the absence of Faramir/Eowyn. And given how good Eomer is in the film, it's damn shame his story is not being given more airtime.<BR>But what I know I am going to hate is the Arwen storyline which sounds like a complete shambles. I think PJ would have been better to have ignored all the anti-Arwen geeks, the sword-wielding Arwen of FotR was infinitely preferable to this drippy nonsense.
