Brilliant, a stroke of genius! I always thought good ol'Brian could pull of any role as long as he shouted loud enough.

I was thinking about who could play Beorn in The Hobbit (apart from Brian Blessed that is) and came up with John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, if only he were still alive...and an actor.
