I would think they would count as tangible, wouldn't they? Elves I mean; not all at the same time of course but since they are individually, I would have thought they would also be collectively.......but oh I don't know... and it ain't my question

Um, how about the elven people as a whole? Or any people? I don't understand the question, if you mean does it have anything to do with elven people as a whole the answer would be: The book does not specify.
