Sharpies are very permanent...I don't recommend using a sharpie to colour your fingernails unless you want them to be black for a long time...

Sharpies and Hobbit feet

And since we' were going to ROTK the next day, I decided to draw brown hobbit hairs on my left foot. Everything else I drew washed off within a week or so. But the "hobbit foot" didn't even fade for at least a month. It was kinda embarrassing when I was in the ER a few weeks later. So I don't suggest drawing on yourself unless your parents don't mind...the stuff might stick for a while.
